"Property and rooms were very dated and in urgent need of refurbishment. However the location is excellent, food and bfast buffet is very good and the staff are above and beyond. Extremely helpful and always ready to help. I lost my earpods in the hotel and they were able to get it delivered to my local contact in Beijing on the same day that I contacted them. The staff at the shop too is very good - my children enjoyed many hours of bottle painting there. "

"The hotel itself was very nice, the rooms were large, clean and bed comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was very hot (thermostat read 30 degrees). The details on the listing said the rooms were air conditioned. When we inquired at the front desk we were told that the air conditioning only worked starting in May (although the hallways were air conditioned). I asked about fans for the rooms but got no response. The main purpose for booking a hotel room is to sleep and in an extremely hot room no one could sleep, the room was a sweat box. The hotel description for air conditioning is deceiving. "
