"The e-mail for check in had not been received on the Hotels.com chat by 2pm, so i messaged and it did come through asap then.
On arrival it was easy to find the key box and gain entrance. The stairs in hallway were a bit rough and the carpet is a bit loose and dirty/worn in patches.
The door to our room was not very secure and a firm push would open the door without need for a key. There is no deadbolt of chain/lock inside to secure yourself in.
The apartment is tired and could do with a layer...

"The concept is phenomenal; the location can't be beat. Exit Dean Street off the Elizabeth Line (Tottenham Ct) and the hotel is a block away. The pod beds were comfortable and everything was spotless, safe and well appointed. BUT, a few comments to help future travelers. It's VERY difficult using the QR code to enter the pods. "This was an excellent hotel on a budget. It was a fantastic location, and it felt very clean and nice. Of course, the room is tiny and basic, but it was exactly what we needed for this trip where we were only in the room for sleeping, anyway. I would highly recommend the Z Hotel to anyone traveling to London who doesn’t want to spend money on an extravagant hotel but who also doesn’t want the hostel experience of shared bathrooms."

"Although our room was very small, it worked for us for the 8 nights of our stay. We are grateful to the staff who immediately took care of the few requests we made ( wash cloths, ice, and extra towels). Since the room was so small we would have benefitted from having 1-2 hooks to hang towels and a soap dish in the shower. We also let them know the shower clogged after 1-2 minutes in the shower."

"We stayed with our kids. The pull out bed had dirty sheets, the staff took hours to bring new sheets and this was close to midnight when everyone wanted to sleep. We sid not enjoy our stay at this place and will never return."
