"I stayed at the St Charles hotel for a wedding weekend getaway. It is very basic accommodations. The location is great for walking into downtown but there is a park right across the street that seemed to attract a not-so-great crowd. Lobby smelled like cigarettes which was a turn off. The room was all I needed for a weekend stay. It seemed like the room and furniture had been renovated recently and the room was overall o-k. Bring ear plugs if you are there on a summer weekend and need the AC on...

"It's all great, as far as i'm concerned, but one has to know in advance what sort of place it is. It's a mosaic of rustic on the outside, elegant/modern on the inside, quadruplexes, with classic LPs and a turntable in the room. There's no restaurant, fitniess room, etc.. (which their website makes clear.) i loved it, It's in the heart of the village. You'll want to walk to everything, which I enjoyed. When I was there, I couldn't find a place for breakfast the Wednesday morning I left;...

"The staff were wonderful, the Inn is cozy and well maintained. It’s very pet friendly and the meals were excellent. One thing we missed is having coffee/tea available if you’re up before breakfast."

"Very quaint but modern accommodations, very comfortable bed, and the shower is fabulous. The only complaint we had was road noise, which being on the main road is unavoidable. Otherwise, would highly recommend this hotel. Easy access and wonderful place."

"Great place, they just redid the rooms!! Very very quiet , which i love!! Owners are amazing , I've stayed here a few times and enjoyed it everytime!! Oh and i had an excellent burger at the restaurant!!! Definitely will be staying there again. Bonus , I opened the door sunday morning to deers grazing in the field 100 ft away!!! AWESOME!!!! Just ask for Savannah shes great!!!"

"Not a cheap place ! Let’s start with the smell - strong marijuana smell, and we were traveling with 11 yers old kid. Not family friendly. The room wasn’t clean, everything outdated. We couldn’t close the bathroom door all the way. Misleading advertising. The website stated there is a free breakfast and free Wi Fi. Well, none of that. “ Free breakfast “ was coffee and hot water. No toasters, no bread. None. “ Free Wi Fi” is only if you sign up for a membership, if not you have to pay. And more…...

"Had a wonderful stay here this past weekend. The Food was fantastic at the restaurant located right in the hotel. The only complaint would be the wall are very thin and even talking at normal levels you can hear through the walls. Overall a wonderful experience."

"We brought our dog with us. We had a room right by the exit. It was clean. Breakfast was great. One thing I would say is make sure you understand the dog fee before you go there there was stores very close for anything you forgot, which made it super convenient. I would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel was just the perfect place to have a quiet evening following a raucous party for a retired friend. The Staff was superb, the facility itself was immaculate and the breakfast offerings were second to none I've enjoyed anywhere else. The staff, from the Manager on Duty down to and including the fella preparing the breakfast offerings, all genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs ! That was such a pleasant encounter that I will be back here to stay when I'm ever in the general vicinity ! ...

"I have known and loved the Beekman for decades. It is genteel-ly worn but a great location with a nice breakfast. I recommend trying to stay in the actual inn or the Firehouse. The more motel rooms are fine but not quite as nice. Wonderful location and fabulous staff!"
