"The actual hotel was fine, the area that its in is not safe. Just outside of the entrance there were homeless people laying on the ground and strung out on drugs. I didnt feel safe at all having my family in this particular area of the Bronx. Would never stay here again for that reason."

"My husband and I stay here overnight. I have to say the customer service was excellent. The cleanliness of the room was perfect. The set up of the room was perfect. The ambience when you walk into the hotel is a good vibe the bed was so comfortable and the shower was awesome we had a great day the only thing missing was that there was no iron to iron your clothes and Parking was extremely hard other than that. I think we had an excellent day."

The hotel knew that I was traveling with babies, as I called 5x to make sure we were all set with their crib beds and early check in. "This is a concern -- MAJOR Thank goodness I had the door chain in place because a male guest was given a key to the same room in error. What a crazy scenario it would have been if I was in the middle of getting dressed or showering and some man walked into my room!! The room AC was not turned on when I came into the room temp was 76F. I turned it on and it never cooled down-- it only went up to 79F. Staff was not able to do anything - brought me fan. "The rooms in this hotel need to be refurbished...very dated accomodations with old carpet in guest rooms and very old bedspreads on the beds. Being the only hotel in Oyster Bay, it has a captive audience. I realize it would be a major upgrade expence but it is time. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"We were there for 1 night. Arrived at 9:30pm, checked in without issue. Upper parking lot is a little sketchy but it is well lit & we left in the morning without incident. The room was clean, sheets were very soft & the a/c was cold. Couldn't ask for anything more. There was a basic breakfast of cereal, bagels, & assorted mini-muffins & mini-donuts with coffee & juice. Staff was very friendly. It was a perfect place to crash for the night."
