"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved The Inn at Fox Hollow! Super clean, great location for Hofstra, and the staff was unbelievably friendly (and thankfully had a great sense of humor when I confidently said “Of course I have my phone”… while it was still sitting at breakfast 😅). Breakfast was excellent, and the dinner amenity was such a nice bonus too. We loved it so much we’re already planning to stay again for move-in week—and we want to bring our parents too… so please feel free to hook us up 😉 Also, side note: I really wish hotels offered teacher discounts… because traveling during school breaks costs twice as much, and teachers definitely aren’t out here living the luxury life! 😭"

"About all I can say for this place is that it does hotel basics: bed, shower. But within a few minutes of arriving at our room I noticed that there were ants all over the nightstand. I killed about a dozen before I called to the front desk. As soon I picked up I was told they had a maintenance request in for my room already because of the ants. Little unsettling they gave the room out anyway, but ok. When I asked if someone could come and look the front desk person tried to brush it off but I insisted someone needed to come. Luckily maintenance did show up pretty promptly and sprayed something around the nightstand. Maintenance guy was great and said they'd return in the morning to clean and spray again. I kind of wish I'd pushed for a new room but again, I just needed a bed and a pet friendly place to spend the night. And this place delivered on that, at least. Just wish there were fewer ants. I did also wake up in the middle of the night because of a strong smell of someone smoking weed but I wasn't confident in the hotel dealing with it, despite it being a smoke free hotel, so I didn't bother calling the front desk again."

"While the property was very clean, the ROI was atrocious. I believe I paid $940 for two nights. There was no restaurant, there was no bar at the property. I heard people walking in the room above me with the floor board/ceiling squecking. The breakfast "buffet" was a joke. Finally, insult to injury was the fact that we also had to pay $20/night for the valet parking as the property also did not include self parking. The property was clean w/out a doubt. The rooms up to date. However, the price was in no relation to the amenities. Obviously, I do no mind paying otherwise I would not have booked but I should have better researched what I was getting in return. I have stayed at 5 star properties for this price. Truly shocked that they are able to charge these prices - then again that is on me for not doing a better job researching what I was getting into."
