"The rooms were not clean. There was cobwebs and spiders everywhere, in the bedrooms and eating areas. Quite a frightening experience. The other problem was there is no direct road access to the hotel, cars will have to stop outside along the roadside and the luggage and bags will have to be unloaded at the roadside. We had to walk about 5-10 mins to the hotel, amidst the padi fields while the hotel staff helped to bring our luggages via a motorbike. It’s a nice walk if it’s in the morning, but...

The breakfast buffet was generous and delicious each morning, with plenty of options to enjoy. The complimentary shuttle service into central Ubud made exploring very easy, and we found ourselves visiting the Ubud markets frequently. Returning to the calm of the resort after busy market visits was the perfect balance. The spa experiences in Ubud were unforgettable, and The Lokha provided a peaceful and comfortable base for everything we wanted to do. An absolutely fantastic stay — we would return in a heartbeat."
