The location is fantastic, parking is extremely tight, wasn’t very clean, ceiling fans are completely covered in thick dust, super low water pressure in showers, zero communication regarding where and how to check (I only knew because of reviews), and there is no elevator for those who would need it. Overall, our stay was ok. Wouldn’t stay again for the price."

"The property was in prime location. Just a few minutes to the beach by foot. Literally five minutes. Location was perfect. You can walk just a few blocks and be in the downtown area where you can get food and drinks without any worries about driving. The motel was cute and vintage. Very adorable. Great for a few nights day. If you don’t mind a tiny house living the Royal Palms is the perfect place."

"Room was in need of maintenance holes in wall, mirrors with hand prints, couch looked like flea market rejects, water pressure terrible and slow to heat, window held up by bars, upstairs noise came into my unit, broom had climbs of black hair in it. While it was close to ocean there was no view. Dead flies in window sill and broken shade on door."

She did a great job with answering our questions and checking on us throughout the stay. The grounds are extremely clean. They do an excellent job of maintaining the building also ans cleaning the rooms. Everything about this place is top notch! In fact, this was our 2nd stay. We loved it so much the first time we were here a weekend ago, that we decided to come...

"The hotel staff were in line for coffee and we had to wait for quite some time to get coffee with breakfast. The conditioner bottle had shampoo or body soap in it. The front desk staff were helpful and nice."

"First off, the location is awesome, but unfortunately it was the best part of our stay. While the resort features two restaurants with decently priced food, the quality was just meh, and you can easily find much better places to eat nearby. My main issue, however, was the beach. If you are marketing yourself as a beach resort, guests should not have to pay an extra 300 dollars just to rent beach chairs. Additionally, the rooms are badly in need of an update. Our toilet overflowed to the top...

We’ve stayed all over the island but really love Sonesta.The property itself is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained.
