"The hotel is set inan amazing area. Walking distance to a shops. The hotel rooms were big and inviting. It was spotless and tidy. The bathroom showed some age but was perfectly functional. And as a cyclist you are very close to an old train track bed that is a shared cycle walking path with a tunnel that runs directly under the hotel. And into the main town centre. "

"We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. "Arrived checked in after a few minutes. Nice clean rooms All the staff on when i stayed were attentive and very friendly Lovely little Pub/Restaurant area. Food was excellent quality. Road noise isn't excessive, as its situated on the main road, so dont let that put you off. My self and business partner will be booking accommodation again a couple of time in 26 when we are down in the area on work. "
