Every single staff member from front desk, concierge, wait staff, to housekeeping was a pleasure. Hotel was clean and comfortable, modern. Breakfast buffet, lunch on the roof and dinner or drinks at the Mr Porter restaurant were all outstanding. Perfect location on the corner of Passeig de Gracia, safe, quiet but near public transportation and an easy walk to important sites. Thanks to all the wonderful people of Sir Victor for a perfect experience.

Everything was great overall. The hotel has an excellent location, very central and convenient for getting around the city. It’s a very pleasant place to stay and definitely a good option if you’re looking for something centrally located.

Great hotel in fab location and the roof top terrace was lovely. ALL staff we interacted with were super helpful and friendly. I actually was poorly (not related to hotel) and the staff were great in helping me see a doctor at the hotel and extending room for half a day. Would 100% stay again.

This hotel is in a great central location. On the surface the Sir Victor is appealing however when you pull back the layers, the hotel is in great disrepair. Our suite had nonfunctional AC which resulted in being relocated to another room during our stay. The new room had a safe that did not work requiring a repair by staff. Throughout the hotel, hallway carpeting is stained, walls have chipped and missing paint and there is an overall odor of mildew and cigarettes. In the two rooms we stayed in, carpet was also stained and decor is worn and shabby. The staff is very accommodating and were wonderful on all accounts. For the price, this hotel does not meet 4 star standards and there are far betting options in the neighborhood.

Wonderful design, terrible execution. Because of this, bathroom doors don’t close, tiles falling off walls, faucets that don’t work well. Some spent a lot of money for something that doesn’t function well and clearly lacks funding to fix. Wonderful location and staff if you can over look the rest.

Here’s a more balanced, non-bitter version: Rewritten Review: The hotel is in a great location, but my experience could have been smoother. I noticed some maintenance issues in my room, such as broken door handles, and I had difficulty getting timely assistance with travel arrangements and some reservation details. With more attentive support and upkeep, this could be an excellent place to stay.

It is the second time i have bin by Sir Victor Hotel this year. Really nice, i love the top roof, were you have nice view over the chimney and balcony, and be relaxed with good meals and soft music and with nice places with sun. The room is comfortable clean and still.

I think the location is very good, so the occupancy rate is high that is why the hotel is maintained the business. but the hallway carpet shows signs of wear over time, and there are stains on the chairs and carpets indoors. The rooftop pool also has rust, and everything feels worn out. I absolutely do not recommend the spa's massage.

The staff was very accommodating. Any requests were met quickly & efficiently. We stayed in the family room with 2 joining rooms. The first (smaller room) was the least desirable. No natural light and minimal lighting from lamps. The second larger room was a bit better, with the window additions. In general the darkness of the rooms was our biggest issue. In general the flow in the rooms was very cut & paste. Small little turns, tight little corners, almost like two buildings were connected. Minor things also included very stained couches in both rooms, water flow inconsistencies (at one point we didn’t have any water in our room) and at other times, air pockets in pipes would shoot out water very aggressively. It would also be nice to have small hand towels near sink.
