Possibly Best Hostel in Spain

This might be the best hostel in Spain. The outdoor spaces and huge adjacent dining area are welcoming. The room had pleasant air conditioning. And, the staff is friendly and attentive. They were as good as luxury hotel staff. (On the previous night, I stayed at another hostel in Barcelona and it was so uncomfortable, and not will maintained.)

No complaints considering it was a hostel, so considering it was a dormitory by choice the only thing to consider are your neighbours when they have no consideration for you sleeping when they turn lights o and make a noise etc. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful

Convenient location in beautiful building. Staff keep the whole hostel very clean and clean the bathrooms multiple times throughout the day. Enjoyed the space for working and outdoor terrace. Kitchen is available for cooking. There also is one self service laundry machine.

I loved this place. The room was comfortable and air conditioned, the beds had privacy curtains and convenient little shelves. It felt very safe and the atmosphere was chill. I loved the terrace and the common space, and the location was very convenient for everything I wanted to see. Thank you!

Great location right by Diagonal Metro station and the main shopping streets, so a good base. Surprising quality accommodations for a hostel. Only slight issue was a slight stale bathroom smell in our private room but it really didn’t affect our stay. I would use again.

Metro is a couple minutes from the hostel. There's also plenty of restaurant options around and Casas Milà and Batllo are about a 10 minute walk. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Located in the heart of Passeig de Gracia. While the common kitchen is small, get some prepared salads or sandwiches at any convenient store and dine at the outdoor area. Skip the 8-euro breakfast and explore the neighborhood cafe and bakeries. Booking a shared room with a private bathroom is an added bonus. It also helps that there is a self-service laundry machine/dryer. Had a pleasant stay.

Worth every penny

This is in every way an awesome hostel! I will definitely come back here. I stayed at the 4 persons mixed room with bathroom and shower which I found very comfortable. The only thing is that the airconditioner was not that effective, so I hope this will be improved.

Loved the staff, Diego was super, as was Idania. Bunk bed was great - comfortable, clean. Would recommend that the Hostal encourage guests (and staff) to use earbuds/headphones when watching stuff on their phones while in dormitory/dining room/interior patio room off of the bedrooms and kitchen. The bathroom shower areas would benefit from improved ventilation and air circulation. Great central location AND away from the madding crowds of the Ramblas. Fantastic and handsome hostel!

First impressions were excellent with a warm and friendly welcome from Diego. I really enjoyed the outside terrace. The staff work hard to keep the property clean. Excellent central location close to subway and very walkable. I appreciated the ability to label my food and cook in the kitchen. My cable locks did not work on their lockers. Can purchase for 6 euros. Use of their towel is 2.50 euros.
