"This was our first time staying here and we had such a nice time. From checking in and interacting with Fred at the front desk, we found the staff to be friendly and efficient. The star was the proximity to the beach and how easy it was to walk into town. We hardly needed our car while we were there. Great weather made Sept a great time to visit beautiful Carlsbad.
