"I use this hotel on a regular basis when working in the Gloucester region I would highly recommend this hotel to any business person traveling to the Gloucester area The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. A few days ago I had a problem starting my car, the staff came out to help me start it and ensure I was not late for my meeting. A big thanks for that."

"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"Had a very pleasant stay, staff very friendly and accommodating. A great traditional pub serving some great local beers. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, which were served promptly after ordering. Room was nice, clean and had everything you might need. Breakfast was substantial and very nice. Off road parking at the rear. Overall a great value stop, I'd definitely recommend"
