"The accommodation was basic but clean, located on the beach but it’s not relaxing due to the large volume of long tails boats arriving and departing all day every day. Getting a long tail boat to the pier can also be difficult. They won’t leave with one or two people so you often have to wait until more are ready to leave. Getting dropped off by the taxi boat in high tide is difficult especially at night. No good options for eating close by. You can walk to the main area in about 20/25 mins but...

"I arrived at Long Doo hostel mid morning on 13th January. I had booked and paid for 11 nights 2 weeks prior to travelling. I booked & paid for Mon nite cos i wanted to check straight in without having to wait till 3pm. I arrived to be told they had let my bed go. 😡😡 thought i wasn't going & without foning to check, just let it go. The very young girl 15/16 spoke little English, tried telling me it was because i hadn't paid. Which i had and showed her the confirmation email with receipt...

"One of the nicest rooms we had in Thailand. I love wood walls and ceiling. Bed was comfy and our first floor room had the pool right outside our sliding door. Staff was courteous - great stay!"

"Nice room, newly renowated. Good service and very nice staff. There was no window in the room, because there is noise in the area from bars, so to make sure to get a good nights sleep there is no window, but there is one in the bathroom. Would stay here again."
