"I booked on hotels.com and there were some local internet issues that resulted in problems with processing my reservation and also my personal credit card for payment. The staff decided to check me in anyway and trusted all would be sorted out in the morning. They were absolutely awesome handling the situation and I was so grateful having driven 13 hours that day."

"An absolute haven of a place to stay. A complex of no outlet brick roads, restored period buildings, and modern facilities to enjoy in the bedroom. Great beds, and a great breakfast in the complex restaurant. This facility is unique! I would definitely stay there again. Uber connections are great too, outbound and inbound. Few local folks know about the complex, and it’s adjacent to Fort Conde."

"The staff was fantastic - helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. The lobby and breakfast area was great. The room was okay, but the mattress was not the most comfortable and there was some stubborn mold in the tub. The air conditioning was great! The caulking may need to be replaced. The location was terrific too."
