The hotel has been closed for renovation but has recent opened 1.5 months and I could not fault it! The rooms are beautifully designed, lots of space, beautiful Mountain View’s (we had one of the sunrise view rooms but I understand they also have sunset views too) and all amenities included. "Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee.
