"Lovely place simultaneously close to the sights yet peaceful and "away from it all." Pressed coffee and delicious continental breakfast buffet got us off to a great start. Friendly and helpful staff, backyard garden and nearby parks made this a memorable stay."

I had personally called up reservations to confirm availability and thereafter booked through Expedia within 5 minutes of my call. Full amount was paid at time of booking. we were however down graded to two individual rooms citing technical error in booking and amount adjusted . very unprofessional."

"Hotel is located in the center of Bath and 12 minutes walk to Roman Bath. Walking to Jane Austen Center, circus or Royal Cresent all within 15 minutes. Room is well sized and tastefully decorated and sparkly clean. Have to mention that the bathroom was beautifully designed. Amenities provided was great, like kettle, coffee press machine, safe, etc. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Although it is in central area but night time the street was very quiet. Maybe because I am a light sleeper so I...

"Richard is a wonderful and generous host full of gentle attentions. His Grosvenor Villa has a great history that you will start discovering as soon as you enter the magnificent lobby. A nice 20 minutes walk to reach downtown Bath, it’s a central point to discover Stonehenge, Bristol, Cardiff and the charming villages of the Cotswold. We highly recommend it and we would we would return with so much pleasure!"

"Good location. Excellent breakfast. There's no parking at the hotel. Also, no discount on city parking. The receptionist recommended Southgate parking, which is a bit far. The room is compact and newly renovated. It was extremely hot outside during our trip. The built-in air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. I recommend it."

The only tiny point was that is was very hot in the house and room (very warm out too) but the fan that was provided was extremely noisy and not really useful. "Everything about this stay was wonderful - from the building, to the room, the beds, and especially the service. Monica and her team were excellent - extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and the location of this stay was ideal - close to nearly everything. A few notes: Be aware that there is no AC, so plan accordingly - though fans, lighter bedding and bottled water were provided. My only recommendation would be to add a small mini fridge to keep the water...
