"The Hotel Mahendra Prakash is awesome place to stay in Udaipur at affordable cost. The rooms are spacious and gives you haveli like atmosphere. It is located at a prime area, major tourist spots are at walkable distance. Frintdesk, Housekeeping and restaurant staff is efficient and polite. Swimming pool is clean. Good is nice. Amazing breakfast. The owners and family are welcoming.They have maintained high standards of the property. Must stay at this hotel when in Udaipur. Highly recommended."

"Location is fabulous right on lake. The entire staff was wonderful. Warm, friendly, helpful. Restaurant was good. We had a balcony over looking the lake. The room was large with many small touches. Huge shower. Windows that opened to lake with built in benches to just enjoy. We could have stayed there all day. We will be back!"

He was great during check-in when he showed us his map and prepared itinerary that made the sightseeing sooo much easier, detailing anything you might want to see or get (ATM) along the way. He had different itinerarys depending on how many day's you had to spend in the local area. He was also a great help when our flight got cancelled just as we were about to get a taxi to the airport. He helped us figure out a new route and get a taxi that...

"I liked this hotel. It is quirky - an old haveli, rooms are all interesting and the landing areas between them have seating / meeting areas - cool and pleasant spaces. The room towels are a non-original shade of grey. Not dirty at all but not new I suppose. The dining area has a clear view of the lake and above it is more seating again with glorious views. The breakfast is comprehensive - some lovely pancakes - and the service there is excellent. "
