"This was a beautiful place to stay in the Old City, perfect for the City Palace and Lake Pichola. The staff were really helpful, the breakfast was good and the accommodation was everything that was promised. Taxis are not allowed into the Old City so there is a short walk once dropped off which I was aware of from other reviews."

"We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is in the hustle and bustle of the old town. The staff and manager couldn’t be more helpful. The Aircon was good in the bedroom. The roof top restaurant was nice and food was excellent. The building had charm and character. It had been beautifully restored and the furniture was in keeping with its heritage. You need to accept that it’s an old building and isn’t sound proof. If you are a light sleeper you will be woken up by horns and dogs barking. That’s part of...

"Checked out early - the rooms were so poor. dirty bedding, weird windows, broken toilet flush, no WiFi, poor water pressure. Double bed but just two single mattress pushed together. "

"I left very early in the morning but they made me a packed breakfast which was substantial. I forgot when I booked to ask for something on the ground level because using the stairs was an awesome task for somebody who is not very good with climbing."

Just a minute away from lake pichola. You could see the lake, the ghat, the pichola market from your balcony. The size of the room was also pretty big. Overall 11/10. "

"Many things in the room were broken: AC, hairdryer, water temperature. The pool also had issues so that we couldn’t use it. The staff the the reception was very nice but the rest of the staff didn’t understand English properly. The location was very central but the last few meters to the hotel had dark corners. The hotel staff can also bring you and pick you up for this part. "
