"Our second visit to Little Robin Gate and it did not disappoint. Such a warm welcome from David and Pumpkin. The accommodation is superb and immaculately clean. Opted for the jacuzzi room which was an excellent way to relax after a busy day. David thinks of everything and the little touches for dogs and humans alike we’re greatly appreciated. Communication throughout was friendly and informative. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Bournemouth with or without a fury friend. "

"Superb hotel, the gardens and the harbour view are stunning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa facilities good and felt like quite a treat. We did not pay extra for the hot breakfast and I don't think there was any need, the continental selection is very high end and delicious. Our room was on the back and quite snug but we knew that when we booked. "

"This has to be the best hotel I have stayed in for dog walking. It has a restaurant next door that serves excellent food sourced locally. A bit more expensive than a pub chain but well worth it. The same with the breakfast which was excellent. And the bonus is we could eat in the dog friendly area with our dog."

"The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, we enjoyed an evening meal and also had breakfast. The rooms are a good size with lots of amenities. The daily hand baked cookies in the room were delicious. It is a peaceful location in the New Forest. They have a large outdoor space where you can enjoy drinks or food. "

"We loved the quaint nature of this lodge, nestled in the golf course. You do have to be prepared to drive up a small hill and parking can be quite tight but it’s well worth it for such a spotless and modern room which provided a really comfortable stay. Very easy to check in and out and you get the option to use the spa and gym facilities as adults. A perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth but close enough to walk into town (it’s downhill so good...

"We had a warm welcome on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The situation of the hotel is perfect for walking into the town with excellent restaurants to choose from. We booked a snug double room which in itself was fine, however, we visited during a heatwave and found the room far too warm (even with the fan provided) and the bed a little on the small side. Having said that we found the decor and cleanliness perfect. "

"A very warm welcome and a lovely room. Bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep. A short walk to the beach and pier, and also not too far to the town centre. My only negative was the bathroom is tiny. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"If The Ivy did hotels this is what they would be like. Beautiful decor, quirky layout and lovely hidden garden. Room felt luxurious and the bed was super comfy. We ate in the garden which was very relaxed, such a pretty setting. The breakfast was superb, eggy brioche with bacon was delicious and the continental selection was very high end. Latte and Americano coffees included which we've noticed that some hotels have started charging for - not good when you are paying a premium for your stay....

"Excellent Stay perfect for a relaxing seaside getaway. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spotless, and had a comfortable bed, it even had a decent size kettle for making hot drinks. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a continental and full English options. The location of this hotel is also perfect, a five minute walk to the town centre, the gardens and the pier Highly recommended and we will stay again on our next visit"

"A wonderful stay with all amenities catered for. A word of complaint, bath/shower facility should have non slip bath mat as climbing out of the bath over the rim it was easy to lose your footing of your remaining leg as you lurch forward. 😢 One suggestion, hand dryers in the WC facilities should ideally be with the latest technology high speed, pressure type. Maybe Dyson type or design. 😅 Otherwise a perfect stay with great food and services. Liked the complimentary quality tea and coffee...
