"Old hotel and rooms. All the outlets in our room were titled and so hard to plug things in them. The outlets near the nightstands on either sides can’t accommodate a charger because they’re stuck on the side of the nightstand between it and the side of the bed. Hairdryer so old and didn’t work. Check in was exactly at 4, they weren’t lenient when I showed up at 2:40."

"The bell men were very nice and helpful. The hotel clerk that checked me in was very pleasant.
The other lady that was a hotel clerk when I arrived was not pleasant and very rude. When I asked a question she was rude about it.

It's only a few blocks away from where The Architecture Tour starts, and it's right on The Chicago River where you can have a relaxing walk by the river. "My husband and I stayed at the Arlo for 2 nights. The property was fresh and modern. The first thing I noticed was the aroma of the lobby right as we walked in the doors from the street. Check in was easy, and we paid the offered $25 for early check in around 10:30 am, which we believed was so worth it. Our room was a bit on the smaller side and the view from our room was the city, with a corner of it being Millennium Park. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Arlo. It was perfect for our needs....
