"Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)"

"The pub was pleasant and lively and we enjoyed a good dinner. The room was on the small side but it had all the amenities we needed. The breakast was freshly cooked and excellent."

"Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. "Lovely stay at the inn. Was a late booking to break up the journey but the staff were welcoming and the accomadation was perfect. The pub is obviously very popular but the accomadation is set back and there was no noise despite it being a busy Friday night"

"A bit of an issue with the booking and whether breakfast was included or not. Advertised as free continental breakfast for all rooms, only to be told on arrival it wasnt included. Used the Expedia agent on the app to query, with screenshots. Breakfast hamper came about 15 mins later. Other than that, all good. Would stay again."
