"Following its recent refurbishment, The Tarbet Hotel blends historic elegance with modern comfort in a stunning location, great for hillwalkers and couples. My only critique is that the dinner service was a bit slow and the menu felt like poor value for money, but we enjoyed the fish pie and chicken schnitzel. Breakfast was exceptional!"

"We had a lovely room with a large bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. The town lost power but we still had hot water which was awesome as it allowed us to have hot showers in the morning. They also made arrangements for a complimentary hot breakfast our second morning when the power was back on. Holly was excellent and enabled us to check in even without the power. "Really enjoyed our stay at Tontine. Very well located for getting around Greenock and travelling to Glasgow and other surrounding towns. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and rooms were clean and comfortable. There were quite a few parties over the weekend in the event room but we didn’t hear anything when we went back to our rooms.
