"It was very neat, tidy!! Loved that it had a cooking station! Did coffee and tea every day!! Staff was not to friendly, but i found alot of Icelanders were not on the very friendly side unfortunately!"

The location is beautiful, clean warm spacious rooms and so very peaceful. We have travelled far and wide across many countries in many hotels and Kriunes tops the list. When we return to Iceland we will not consider anywhere else other than Kriunes. A huge thank you from my wife and I and we hope to return and live the experience all over again."

"Although the room is very simple but there are extra WC and shower room on each floor so very convenient. It is very close to the supermarket within walking distance. The shared kitchen on the main level is a big plus which we did not expect."

"The family running the guest house was so kind and helpful. The two children were delightful. Busy and active but very respectful and inquisitive at the same time. Although not the Ritz Carlton, the guesthouse was clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay again."

"I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "
