"Simple but clean, affordable, and well located option for staying in Kyoto. The staff seemed to be mainly Indian/South Asian and very fluent in English. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, yet easily walkable to public transit and major attractions. The only downside was lack of on-site laundry facilities (although maybe they had laundry and I just never found it?) Anyway, a great stay."

"This place was a nice retreat for me after spending the majority of the past two weeks in Tokyo and Osaka. It is right next to the train station and a short walk to the sights in Arashiyama. The onsen facilities were very nice."
