Sonesta was comfortable and clean. We had to quickly find a place to stay the following night, and found it easy to book online. Nice staff and a great price. We’ll be back next time we visit Ann Arbor.

Our room had everything you could need. We were just staying there as a mid-point to our drive. This hotel was close the Matthaei Botanical Gardens and we toured their amazing Bonsai garden!

overall, the properties well maintained, and the amenities are great. The only issue I had was that the room smelled bad but they were cleaning the carpets when I left so I’m sure that issue is resolved.

The check-in / check-out staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were okay; both of our rooms had wads of long black hair on the bathroom floors, which is a big ick. Location is very convenient, A/c and exhaust fans in rooms are kind of noisy but tolerable. Would stay again but please vacuum better

Disappointed in recent changes. I have made 20+ trips for business, always staying here. New management has made it hard for the very good staff to keep up morale. Kitchens have been gutted in strange ways: no more sponge or dish soap--instead, run the dishwasher for a fork. No more useful traveler oriented food on hand--instead find soda, chips, candy for a jacked up price. TP is like sandpaper. Useful items removed from kitchens (frying pan, spatula) while appliances are offered downstairs in a locked area (blenders, electronic slow cookers). I heard one guest begging for a simple fry pan. They were removed by Corporate. Really a shame. It is a very nice facility that is being undermined by suits who don't appear to ever travel.
