10/10 Excellent
"The amazing welcome from when we first stepped into the building to when we left was great. Clean room, house keeper came everyday, great food and friendly staff in the bar and restaurant. Lovely quiet secluded place, there is a train line right outside the hotel but very few running. Would definitely recommend and stay again, especially if you want to explore Snowdonia and the surrounding area."

"From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. Gary and Veronica were the perfect hosts making sure we had everything we needed. The room was simple and spacious and had plenty of tea and coffee etc. We also used the bar/restaurant downstairs in the evening which served lovely food for a great price. Breakfast was delicious the next morning and all perfectly cooked - they even had some delicious Glamorgan sausages for me as a vegetarian, a lovely surprise! What a bargain of a stay with perfect hosts, couldn't have asked for more."

"Bed room clean. Mattress and pillows on the hard side. Shower room sensors stayed on all night so did not sleep very well. Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs. Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. Would have been nice to have had small unopened mini bottles for hygiene purposes. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel."
