"Lovely old pub with good rooms available, Gary is a nice friendly host and really cares that you enjoy your stay. We had our evening meal and drinks there which were good quality and value for money. The breakfast was top notch and you helped yourself to good quality coffee and toast. I've already booked a stay here again."

"We stayed here one night as a last minute getaway from the heat back home . The property was spotless and everything was so thoughtful , so many personal touches showing the care they take with their guests . They went above and beyond when I had an issue with my car charging and drove me all the way to it, which would have cost £50 in a taxi. My children loved the animals on site and the owners were very patient answering all their questions ! Thank you so much for your kindness !"

"This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago. It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful. Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose. In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant. Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again."

"Just great. The house was thoughtfully kitted out with everything you might need during your stay. Four spacious bedrooms, living room with an open fire, sunny boot room just off the kitchen, ample hot water, central heating and cosy lighting throughout. The house was so close to the coastal path with many pubs, restaurants, fish and chips within a short drive. We would definitely visit again."

"Very Nice Hotel, top notch location and views with helpful staff, tasty evening meals and good breakfast selection, felt their food and drink prices are a little high for what they offer, as our room was comfy but nothing special, and a little warm for June Temps."

"Well appointed close to all facilities and beach. The cottage was well stocked but showing signs of wear and tear which you expect with high occupancy , unfortunately the main concern was the water temperature it was tepid and never got hot which meant cold baths and showers therefore we didn’t use the hot tub who wants constant cold showers for that reason alone we would not use the property again or recommend it."

"It is very compact but the space is adequate. There’s very little storage space in the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped (though no cafetière) but not well laid out. That being said it’s comfortable - especially the sofa. It’s also well placed in Cemaes for easy access to the high street / beach and car parking is about 100m away. The patio is a lovely sun trap. "
