"Out of hours check in was easier than expected. Initial disappointment at non-response to messages,emails made me fearful, even after getting Expedia to contact the hotel.The room was adequate but the lack of an en suite WC a bit off putting.External noise from the street till the small hours but what do you expect from an Inner city location on a Friday night, Continental breakfast was acceptable shame no cooked option."

"Exceeded our expectations even though the room was fairly compact. Great use of space with cubbies storage area for clothing. Clean and updated. Soft bed. The Hotel Gideon located within the altstadt/old town city walls of Nuremberg. Just a short walk from the train station/Hbf. Very friendly and hospitable at the front desk. Would enjoy staying here again. Did not have the breakfast. Loved spending time seeing everything right outside the hotel. "
