"The room was clean but the drain was clogged so that grossed us out. Our TV also was difficult to watch because there were 12 bright dots. The staff wasn’t that friendly and some of them didn’t seem thrilled to be there. I’m glad there was some allergy friendly food in one of the restaurants but there was only one option available. I feel with gluten becoming such a known allergy, there should be a lot more options. Water park was fun, just got too crowded for our liking but I’m sure that’s just how it is."

"We needed 1 night for 3 people and the price was right. The grounds and pool are clean and well-maintained, as is the main building. The side building where are room was is a different story. Dark hallway with cleaning carts blocking it, no directional signs for room numbers, laundry and supply rooms wide open, a ridge on the threshold of the room that prevented smooth rolling and a pretty dirty bathroom floor. There was also old pizza in the fridge and the black out curtains prevented the AC from cooling the room. No extra roll of TP either. Furnishings were standard laminated stuff with sharp edges. The lighting and outlets were good. The rear key card entry from parking required a hard push or pull, like it didn’t fit the frame properly, and the wood strip at the bottom was splintering. Did not stay for breakfast. Overall, it felt like a cheap hotel that got away with jacking the price for the Belmont Stakes and not offering anything special."

"I have been to this hotel many times but was disappointed this time that the bar and restaurant were closed until after July 4th except limited weekend hours. There wasn't even coffee available other than the small keurig machines in the hotel rooms. The hotel was clean but the room I was in had chipped paint and the dresser had scratches, etc. The front desk staff was professional and courteous. There is ample parking but if you have luggage you would want to drop off at the front door before parking as there is no valet service. I will explore other options in the future."
