"My rating of 5 stars based on knowing I was getting what I was booking. I was flying early the next morning and wanted a stay that was cheap and included breakfast and shuttle to the airport. "We had two rooms, one with a fabulous view of the harbor/islands and one with a window overlooking the hillside. The location of Zasgo was perfect for our family, a 10 minute walk to the downtown area. A grocery store, pharmacy, gift store, and clothing shop are all in the hotel building. The pool on the 3rd floor roof was lovely. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice and enjoyed the included breakfast almost daily."

"Our room was cleaned twice a day. Staff was always nice and friendly. The resort is quiet, well maintained, and lovely with an open beach to watch sunsets. Buffet breakfast offer lots of options including native food dishes and an omelette station every morning. There is also a swimming up bar at the pool that serve good cocktail drinks. I would stay there again."

The area is pretty remote though and if you fly in late, getting food is not an option, nor is getting transportation. But I was able to use Grab Food to get meals delivered to me. It's a good place if you're in for a short stay to do a day trip to Komodo."

"Basic room, nice staffs and good location. But. They allow smokers to smoke on the top floor patio which causes the entire building to smell like cigs. Even during the Breakfast hours, they allow smoking resulting in second hand smoking for breakfast. There's no wifi. Towels are dingy. Door has a gap which allows unruly tourists noise and cigarette smells to come in. We requested early breakfast box the day before in the morning but we did not get any as the cook did not show up. Only one drawback: It was a bit confusing entering the cafe/restaurant area for dinner & breakfast because there was nobody at front to greet me, show me to a table and give me a menu. It was almost 10 mins after I sat down before a waiting staff member came over. Otherwise, I would rate the hotel as “good”."

"Great location on the beach, beautiful resort, nice breakfast buffet and convenient shuttle service. Not only do they provide complimentary shuttle to/from airport or other location, they also provide daily shuttle to town at 6PM and pick up at 9PM. The room was very big with a nice ocean view.
