"Breakfast was good. Rooms are poor quality, very old. Things broken in the rooms and nothing staff can do about it but say sorry. The spa is good but restricted to just one hour and also restricted to just the pool, can’t use the nice spa pool without paying another £70 per person per day so be aware of that. The hotel location is good, walkable to the park and ride and each to get into the centre etc. "

"Overall experience ok, staff friendly but only one staff at the morning breakfast and have to wait for 20 mins just to order. Room was basic for Bannatyne standard. The standard double bed was very uncomfortable as it was combination of 2 beds joined together leaving the gap in the middle. Shower was flooded and toilet flush buttons not working properly. A bit dissappointed."

"The thermostat to the radiators didn’t work so we couldn’t turn the temperature down and were therefore uncomfortably hot and got limited sleep. The mattress added to the lack of sleep as it was very uncomfortable. The door to our room you could close from the inside with a hard shove but you couldn’t close from the outside so we couldn’t leave anything valuable in the room. "Early check in was great. Room is quite dated and needs some maintenance but the bed was very comfy. We would stay again if in the area."
