"Excellent newly refurbished accommodation, comfortably appointed room with convenient en-suite shower room. My only drawback was the stairs to bedrooms, but I am disabled, so because I forgot to mention this when booking, (with Expedia), I had to climb all 26 steps! The staff were excellent and helped with my luggage and I canโt speak highly enough about them"

"The room would have been perfect however there was no air conditioning and the room was boiling. It was only possible to crack the window open. Staff were amazing really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was brilliant. We had a couple of meals that werenโt as described โฆ. The lamb in lamb ragu was mince not pulled lamb and the noodles in the Chinese chicken were watery. The position of the hotel is ideal and we would return."

"Lovely friendly staff. Able to check in early which was great. The pub the accommodation is connected to is wonderful - excellent food and great surroundings. The room could have done with a more thorough clean - the were dust bunnies under the bed. The bathroom needs an update. But it was clean enough. Comfortable beds. Be aware that the โwindowโ in the bedroom is the top half of the stable door, so we could not leave it open for air at night, however there was a small window above that could be left open, and another small window in the bathroom. Just glad we didnโt stay in the height of the heatwave. There was a fan in the room and it had been left running which was thoughtful. The breakfast room was well stocked and it was great to be able to help ourselves in the morning to what we wanted. I would definitely book the accommodation again without hesitation."
