"The property felt tired and dated. The carpets were stained, as were the curtains. Everything felt a bit grubby. The sofa bed had pillows and duvets provided in a cupboard but we had to go to reception to collect the covers and sheets to make up ourselves. On the plus side, the accommodation was very spacious, the bathrooms were clean (although no bath mats were provided) and the grounds are absolutely stunning."

"This hotel had the feel of an old 1980s hotel that had been poorly maintained over the years by the owners. The room was clean but on our second morning we weren't able to have a shower because the shower didn't work. The tap water was also like an oven while the beds were like rocks. Despite promising wi-fi this too was non-existent. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok but during our stay there was always a feeling of what was going to go wrong next."

Hotel breakfast area and bar were lovely and food standard was fine. However room we stayed in was very small and not luxurious for the price paid. "Beautiful hotel right off the water. Kids enjoyed the pool and spa areas, although never had time to try out any of their other activities. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and breakfast. Certainly worth visiting"
