The staff were friendly and helpful. Our baggage was safely left in the luggage room on the day of our departure, which made it so much easier on our last day. "Went direct to the hotel from Thirsk, and arrived at 10.30 am. The receptionist was very polite and let us store our cases until we could check in at 3pm. Easy check-in, and had a river facing room on the third floor. Beautiful room, and great bathroom ( the shower was a drencher but there was a shower cap) and lovely view. "Excellent location, just a short 10 minutes walk into town. Secure car park, although costs £17 per day. Good size room, although found the separate toilet a little strange that took some getting used to. Fabulous continental breakfast that can be ordered when booking your room."

"I had attended a friends wedding on the 4th of July & from checking in to the wedding the hotel did an amazing job & all the staff were just amazing & they went above & beyond to make sure we had a great time. & I certainly did. I had a wonderful day/ night at the hotel de vin and I would absolutely recommend this hotel not just for staying but having a function at. Food & breakfast was delicious. "
