"Historically my husband and I have been staying at this resort for YEARS. This was the last though - here is why: they kept charging my credit card fraudulent fees - I mean in excess. Expedia says I can’t mention prices - it was to the point my credit card company called me to alert theft concern. And 1 of the reasons Sonesta stated for these charges was “that you booked through a 3rd party app” But we prepaid in FULL And they kept changing the reasons or not providing any explanation...

"We paid extra for a room with a balcony and we were literally placed in the corner next to the maid closet. So every morning they slam the door open(no fault of theirs it’s just the way the door opens onto their carts as they stock them). Then no balcony. Second floor yet people on street just talking, not shouting sounded as if they were in our room. I paid a lot of money and was nothing but disappointed with this property.
