"Glad we stayed at Royal Sonesta for a week. My family had a great time. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were clean and we spent a lot of time in water. The kalpaki beach access is a great convenience. The food at kukui restaurant was great. The staff were very helpful and the concierge helped me plan out my week to my requirements. "Beautiful resort. Great buffet breakfast. The basic room, for $1,000 a night (including taxes and resort fees) was really a basic room, and not worth the money. It was nice it had two sinks, but had wear on the room. Very nice, helpful staff everywhere. We did valet parking for $40 a day. It was nice. Our room did not have a beach view, I don't know how much more that would have cost?"

"Don't waste your money and time at this Outrigger - terrible beach (definitely no swimming). Rooms are dated and staff are not very friendly/helpful. Restaurants: nothing to write home about but very expensive. Note: they charge a RESORT FEE and PARKING FEES. Resort fee for what??? Plus you can only park in their pay parking lot - no other choice. Terrible location "

"Extremely friendly and responsive staff. Well maintained rooms, pools and grounds. Food, drink and marketplace offer delicious and thoughtful options. Fantastic location for all you’d want to do in Kauai, but you could also stay and never need to leave the property. "The property was spacious and there was plenty of pool/beach chairs available. The rooms and shared areas were all clean to a high standard. The staff we encountered were friendly. The views from this property were beautiful. Also a short walk to local shops and other restaurants."
