"Lovely bit of highland grandeur/history. Mostly just passing through for a local event so didn’t get the full experience. Wee bit expensive for room alone but no complaints about the standards/staff etc bar/dining facilities looked very pleasant "

"Very highly recommended. The hotel has had a spruce up since I was last here and she's looking lovely. Very comfy beds and powerful shower with nice products. Great spa. Food and cocktails both delicious. Everyone super friendly and helpful. With local people coming in to use the pool or have a drink at the bar, it feels like part of the town as well rather than just a tourist enclave. We will be back. "

"We had a delightful stay at Cawdor House, thanks in large part to the fabulous couple who own and run it. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. "Sehr netter Gastgeber mit vielen schottischen Anekdoten am Frühstückstisch. Heimelige Atmosphäre beim wirklich tollen und sättigenden Frühstück nach Vorbestellung. Tolles sehr schön eingerichtetes Herrenhaus. Das Bad war in unserem Zimmer neu renoviert. Alles Top. Ruhige Lage. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen!"

"Cozy, warm, made us feel completely at home! Great breakfasts! Special little touches like fresh flowers in local gin bottles, wee dram of scotch, cookies and chocolate. Awesome bed! Nice, crisp white sheets, comfy white comforter and good pillows! Loved the decor and the red doors!"

"We stayed for a couple of days and loved the experience! Allison and Hugh are one of the best hosts we´ve ever met. They are kind, welcoming and always available to help with anything you need. The breakfast they prepare is outstanding, everything homemade and delicious. We will definitely come back if we have the chance!!"
