"What a lovely gem to luck into : close to the isle 0f Skye ( just over the bridge ) but well placed , quiet and proudly Scots ( great tartan i go in the corridor walls ). We hopped over the bridge for a meal then relaxed in the super clean rooms . There’s a great guest sitting room with lots of squishy sofas but we were too tired to enjoy . However , huge five stars to the breakfast ; ‘ full Scottish ‘ plus great tasting fruit salad and selection of breads , cereals etc Would absolutely...

"Excellent faultless service and amazing food. Nothing too much trouble. Reasonable price for top class hotel. Beautiful grounds to walk in and not far from the east coast, Black Isle and Beauly where we wanted to visit. Definitely will return. "

"The cabin we stayed in was lovely with spectacular views. It was cozy and had everything you could think of. Close to restaurants and food shopping and a great jumping off point for touring the Isle of Skye. Great place !"

"Thia hotel was really nice. In a very quiet area in Isle of skie. I loved the landacape, the old building and how they repserved everything. It is true it doesn't have elevator but it is not a reason to discredit all the plus and how comfortable they made us feel. Breakfast was really good and service exceptional. "

"Hotel situated in a stunning location. Anyone looking to relax can certainly make themselves at home. Relaxed atmosphere and comfortable bed. No tv however they are trying to promote an atmosphere that does not need a tv. Not that there's much on it anyway. Also with free, fast wi-fi you can still use your phone/tablet if you need to watch something etc. Meals very nice, Steak was tasty and Haddock was in a Golden beer batter and was lovely. "Before we were even in the door, therecwax a notice advising people that no meals to be taken to rooms, as previous customers had left a mess! The suite was perfectly good...but kitchen area had 2 mugs..one chipped, 2 teaspoons, a kettle that wouldnt switch off, and no teatowels or basic cutlery. Bathroom fine, but toilet seat, too small and extreme wobbly! The meal at night, and the breakfast were excellent. The staff seemed to consist of 3 girls, who were obviously multitasking...i take my hat...

"Staff and service was great, breakfast very good. Hotel,room very clean. Bed, linens comfortable, shower great water pressure and lots of hot water. But property is shabby,needs upkeep,improvements. Harbor area underwhelming. Not worth the price for a very mediocre waterfront area. Next time will stay farther out for better quality. "
