"The Arden is hard to find if your sat nav takes you the old way where they have built new roads, but once you are there, the staff are very friendly and the room is always clean. Big menu choice in bar and restaurant. Spacious hotel with nice atmosphere"

"The staff were immediately helpful when the key card wouldn't work.
They were also helpful in getting me something to drink after a heavily warm day.
The room was basic but useful
The bathroom was efficient in the use of its space.
Breakfast was a refreshing start to my morning, especially the fresh water on tap, being nice and chilly.
The wifi was quick enough to be useful and not a hinderance like larger hotels.
It was easy to travel to and from my hotel of choice."

"We had reserved two rooms. One of the rooms had such an awful, musty smell that it hit you as soon as you opened the door. We notified reception and were given a bottle of air freshener. Sprayed half a bottle in the room and went out to dinner. When we came back smell was still there and still as pungent. TV was also not working so we called reception again. "As of June '26, the hotel is very newly refurbished (ongoing in some areas). The room was immaculatly clean and spacious, bedding very comfortable. The hotel is easy walking distance to NEC halls, and not far to the train station and airport, but tucked away so quieter than many other hotels on the campus, which we liked. There were only a few disappointments: on arrival we were told a "plumbing problem" meant our room was unavailable so we were sent to the nearby Ibis hotel for the first night...
