"Room was very hot when outside temperature was 65 deg F. Air Conditioning was not operating in April. Only heater worked. Only way to cool off room was to shut off hot air fan and keep window open all night long. Bed mattress was sooo firm I literally got a back ache and did not get any sleep. "Excellent breakfast with many home baked pastries, eggs, meats, fruits, juices, etc. Overlooks lemon trees. In central Sorrento and in walking distance of the rail station, Amalfi bus, port to Capri and everything Sorrento has to offer. The woman at reception was very helpful with our train routing to Herculaneum and with other travel questions. The room was small but very pretty."
