"The view from the room overlooking the bay is very nice, but the room has no air conditioning/heat pump so it is hard to enjoy as it is very hot. There also are no screens in the bathroom so every night there are many insects, several of them are quite large. It made for a much less enjoyable stay especially at this price point. At the very least, I would suggest they install screens so that there won’t be as many insects."

"Die Unterkunft ist direkt am Meer das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war toll. Wir waren zu früh da und durften trotzdem sofort einchecken. 😊 Das Zimmer war auch sehr schön, wenn auch klein. In der Tür war leider eine Ritze, so dass Mücken und die Hitze immer rein können und der Weg zur Unterkunft ist extrem steil hier muss gut aufgepasst werden. Wir würden es trotzdem weiterempfehlen ☺️"

"This a beautiful property with rustic cabins. There are amazing views as it is high up. We saw many birds from our balcony including green parrots and toucans. It is quite a climb from the road, definitely not accessible, but close to Drake Bay beach, a grocery store and several restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. We pre-arranged a tour to Corcovado National Park through the hotel and it went great. You can order breakfast the day before and have it specially prepared for you...

"Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. "Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that!"

El Remanso Lodge is location in a pristine forest just outside Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica. This room is La Vainilla, and it was beautiful. All open air, it overlooked both the forest and Pacific Ocean. Animals and birds galore. Two queen size beds and two twin beds, two stories and a beautiful balcony. Highly recommended!
