"This was a pleasant surprise. The room was very nice and comfortable. The lobby was clean and the staff very accommodating. The breakfast was a real breakfast, not just old fruit and granola bars. The airport shuttle is not always available and you need to call for pickup! I was very impressed for the price we paid."

"Like the hotel. Would skip breakfast. Too expensive for what you get for free in other hotels. Walkable breakfast places would be a better option. "

"We enjoyed the location of the property and how easy it was to walk to the water and most of the activities we were doing in Portland. We did have to drive to the lighthouse, but otherwise everything else was walkable. Lots of places to eat nearby and shops. It was safe as well, with a decent seeming night life near by. "

"We stayed at this property during a family vacation in Portland and had a fantastic experience. The amenities, cleanliness, and staff responsiveness were all top-notch. Valet parking was smooth and convenient, making our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was especially kind and accommodating with our two toddlers, which we truly appreciated. The location was perfect for exploring on foot when we didn’t feel like taking the car. Having a microwave in the room was a great bonus—it made it easy...

"Topside Inn had an amazing view of the harbor while sitting in the Adirondack chairs. The bar set up was terrific with their free welcome drink. Food service was excellent and the blankets outside on the balcony was a great touch. Would come back for an extended stay. Highly recommended."
