"We ended up staying at this resort after receiving a call from Hotels.com just two days before our check-in day, informing us that a reservation we had made six months earlier at another hotel had been canceled due to overbooking. Fortunately, the Hotels.com representative was extremely helpful and quickly found us a room here, about 20 minutes from our original location, along with a complimentary room upgrade.
The resort itself is impressive and offers the classic feel of a ski lodge. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall property appeared well-maintained. While some areas could benefit from modernization, everything was kept in good condition. Check-in was fast and hassle-free.
The only downside was the parking situation. Since this is a ski resort, parking is located some distance from the main building. Although there are exits near the parking lot, guests cannot re-enter through those same doors, which made carrying luggage a bit inconvenient.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this property, especially for guests planning an extended ski vacation."
"I stayed here for the wedding. Beautiful grounds and beautiful fuse. It’s a very clean hotel. The public restrooms for the conference rooms and the event areas are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The room was in excellent repair and very comfortable. I like that you can open the windows to allow fresh air to come in. My room at a full-size fridge, a stove, top with oven and a microwave. I thought all of the decorations and appointments were beautiful. I thought it was a great place to stay. The photos really don’t do this Hotel justice. Front desk staff in the manager were very friendly and funny. They were very helpful. They had adequate handicap spots available close to the entranceway, which was very good. I definitely would stay here again."
"The Jacuzzi was very nice and I met the cleaning lady and we had a great conversation. It’s great to see someone loved their job and the people they worked for."
"Staying at a B&B is so much nicer than a regular hotel! Owner John made us feel important and right at home. A real breakfast in the morning included with the stay was a wonderful treat. All this more than compensated for not having a king size bed or a mini fridge in the room. This stay was by far the best of 5 in our New England trip."
"The property was immaculate (golf course included). The staff were very cordial and helpful. Liz at the tavern was easily the best person behind the bar i have ever encountered. Excellent stay in all regards."
