"The property sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean and the freeway. It can get noisy especially during the day. It is an old inn, established in 1910. Don't expect a super modern hotel. There is no lobby, just a small registration office.The office and room smells like a combination of old, floral and musty. Found a spider and fly in the room. They have a coffee maker but no free water bottle. They charge $3.00 per 16 Oz. water bottle. Parking is not free. $10 per day fee..Breakfast is mediocre....

"I liked that the hotel was new and the decor had a great asthetic! The furnishings were nice and modern! The rating was lower because there was a motion sensor in the rooms and the lights went out several times including when I was in the shower. It was funny at first after we discovered the issue, but quite annoying when it happened repeatedly. "This place was so good for a weekends get away. It was very dusty inside, under the couch and head boards was layers of dust. And we arrived 30 min early and was told there was a $50 early check in fee which was alittle weird. We did not pay that and waited 30 min which ended up with using late to our event. "The location is great and the house was very clean and had all of the amenities you could want. I liked that it has two wings of the house for privacy. The fire pit is a wonderful feature for the cool coastal nights. Every bedroom has access to the backyard which is nice. I would highly recommend this house. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely want to return."
