"Beautifl property, amazing atmosphere, generally loved the place and cant wait to go back."

"We love Lake Placid and this the first time we stayed at the Grand Adirondack. the staff and Hotel itself were great and there were a few Comfortable “lobby” areas to sit at. the free coffee in the morning was great. The cons were they charged $24 a day for valet parking, which is obviously way too much for Northern New York. Also the drinks and food at the cloud splitter and Marcy bar Are also “New York City” type pricing. Hopefully they realize that there aren’t many people there because of...

"The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The flooring has been replaced recently. The wall are rather thin and we could hear everything that was being talked about in the adjoining rooms and outside. Luckily, the other guests weren’t up too late as to keep us awake. "

"It was off season which may account for it being so quiet. The use of bikes, canoe, kayaks complete with life jackets all at your fingertips at no cost when ever you needed it, was great. And you are right on the lake!!! Manager and staff were very friendly."

"The room was clean and well kept. All the equipment were functional and also very clean. The area was beautiful and quiet. However, the checking in location was far away from the main residence which was a problem for me who didn't have their own car. The WiFi network inside the rooms were terrible. But overall, it was a good stay. "

"This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!"

"This was a wonderful get-away find that I wish I could keep to myself. This Lodge has everything you could want; cozy clean updated rooms with a great view of the lake from your balcony, friendly engaging staff, delicious food so you don't have to leave for meals and close proximity to great hiking, private beach with kayaks and a activity center where you could rent different items based on the season. We loved it. Thank you so much!"
