"Fantastic hotel which has clearly had a lot of work done in recent times. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I! I brought his own bed, however my bed was super comfy and cosy. There was a tv, a (clean!) kettle with tea & coffee and...

"Among the best hotels on the island. Particularly the attention to detail and the comforts laid on for guests. The food is superb, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our room was spacious and sumptuous. The building has been extensively renovated and refurbished recently and the owners took the opportunity to ensure the benefits were for the guests.
