We had a reasonably pleasant stay at Sanouva Danang Hotel. The hotel is quite tired and could definitely benefit from some updating. That said, the bed was comfortable and the staff were excellent — friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Unfortunately, although the staff were great, overall the hotel didn’t quite meet our expectations, and based on our experience we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. There were some positives, particularly the fantastic staff and comfortable bed, but the hotel itself needs some investment and refurbishment.

Everything was great 👍 I would say the other pool by the restaurant needs new lounge change or place cushions on them.

This was an extremely disappointing experience, especially because we were traveling with our young child. This hotel is advertised as a non-smoking hotel, yet when we first entered our room, there was a very strong marijuana smell. We immediately reported it to the hotel and asked to change rooms. The hotel moved us to another room, but unbelievably, the second room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. At that point, we were exhausted and extremely frustrated. We were traveling with our child and simply wanted a clean, smoke-free room where we could sleep. Instead, we had to deal with marijuana odor in the first room and cigarette smoke in the second room. We ended up not sleeping at all that night. We also spoke directly with the manager. What was even more disappointing was the manager’s response. Instead of properly addressing what happened or offering an appropriate solution, we were simply told that they could upgrade our room if we stayed again in the future. That is not an acceptable response. Why should we have to return to this hotel in the future to receive an upgrade when we were already dealing with an unacceptable situation during our current stay? A hotel that claims to be non-smoking should not have guests dealing with marijuana and cigarette odors in multiple rooms. This was especially unacceptable with a young child staying with us. The entire experience was exhausting and ruined our night. The management’s response only made the situation more frust
