Awa Ski Holidays

Our initial reaction was that the property was smaller than it appeared in the images, but once we settled in, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great — close to subway and shopping. The washing machine and the in-shower drying are really convenient. The kitchen also has a stovetop, microwave and a large fridge. We would book this place again next time we visit the Tokyo area.

We really appreciated early check in. We were able to check in at 1pm rather than 5pm. Remote check in and out. There were welcome gifts including bottled water for each person for each day of our stay, plus some chips and snacks. That was a lovely touch. The host is very quick to respond. The apartment is close to the train station and only 10 mins from Haneda Airport. We stayed here as we had an early flight out at 6.55 am. However, this was too early for us to catch the train so we ended up paying about $80 AUD for an UBER to the airport which was quite pricey. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean. Three bedrooms, two with 2 double beds and the third has 2 singles. There is a large kitchen, living room and dining room. You need to climb a flight of stairs to access the apartment. There is a washer and dryer which was very convenient. This area felt much different to the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku and Shibuya. It is an area where local Japanese live so you can experience their daily lives. A few places to eat nearby, a big supermarket, 7 Eleven. We enjoyed our time here.

Great hotel, beautiful rooms with great views. We stayed on the executive floor, which I would highly recommend.

The lobby is gorgeous, the staff are incredible and great communicators. The room itself is on the smaller side, decor and furniture appears to be older but extremely well maintained and very clean. Opening up the balcony door helped make things feel a bit more spacious for 3 people in a room this size. Otherwise, easy access to Shinkansen from the hotel. Limo bus from Narita drops off right at the front of the hotel but I didn’t use the airport shuttle. Didn’t get to explore too much of the surrounding area except nearby 24/7 7-11 and food court/halls. The hotel 7-11 does close late at night. I really liked the surrounding but I might choose something closer to a Yamanote line stop next time.

We recently stayed at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu as a couple and were very impressed. The property itself is stunning and feels very luxurious. Our room was surprisingly spacious and spotless—definitely one of the cleanest and largest rooms we've experienced in Tokyo. A huge thank you to the helpful staff who made us feel so welcome. It was a perfect stay from start to finish

The hotel was crystal clean, the front man was very polite and professional. There are free amenities by the front desk, the room was spacious and efficient. There is a convenience store nearby.
