"Excellent staff from the receptionists to the servers at breakfast. Housekeeping is also exceptional. They provide not only hairdryer but curry iron and Japanese high-end skin care products. Location is super ideal, right by the station and across from the mall and near the Naval base. I have been staying here for 10 years every time I visit my family in Yokosuka."

"Hotel Metropolitan was wonderful to stay in for our 2 week Japan trip. The staff were very polite and helpful. The refurbishment they have had is wonderful, the bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size and it was everything we needed. It was helpful that there was a Muji restaurant connected with out hotel as it meant we could easily have a buffet breakfast. The location was great and we had a wonderful time."

"Expect a small budget room; the original concept seems to have been a room for a traveling salary man- small, quiet, no frills. Be aware that the smoking rooms do indeed smell of smoke/ I know that seems obvious, but some rooms are better than others. Ask at the front desk for their room recommendations. "

"Amazing spot. Close to the train, close to the beach, the food is amazing and there’s several great restaurants on the same block. The in-house onsen and laundry was clutch for me and my toddler. The afternoon snacks were a favorite of the the toddler, lol. It’s clean, bright, spacious and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again. "
