"It is a very unique hotel. The history is awesome and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room is small and quaint. The bathroom is very small and the bed was not comfortable. If you are young and like to be in the center of things happening in winter park., it’s a fun place to stay."

"Staff was very nice about allowing us to check in late - we called ahead and they were very accomodating. Overall this is a very rundown property and there are cockroaches. We slept with the lights on. If we could have, we would have left and found another place to stay but it was 12:30AM and that was not an option. People live here - it's not a regular hotel. There was noise from the hallway all night, a dog was barking and then kids were loud in the morning on their way to school. Do not recommend. "
